Paula Swanborough – General Manager ACUK

After leaving Kings College London with an Honours degree in Iberian and Latin American languages, Paula joined Local Government and gained qualifications in Management Services and Systems & Procedures – eventually heading a team of practitioners examining and improving the effectiveness of Council operations, from Electoral Registration and Policy, to Arts Centres and Landscape Management.
Following time at home with three children, Paula joined AC in 2005 to take over the operational administration as the Charity started to expand. The first challenge was to submit an application to the European Union, which resulted in the first of two successful 3 year awards to fund the Twin School project.
Now responsible for Finance, project planning and general office management, she sees her prime purpose as ensuring operational efficiency and rigour in support of Sarah and the Trustees.
